Ici Biarritz was born from a simple observation: there are dozens of travel guides about Biarritz, but none written by people who live here year-round.
We are locals. We know the bodégas that don’t appear in guides, the markets worth getting up early for, the beaches to surf without crowds, the restaurants where surfers eat for €12.
Our editorial approach
No article on Ici Biarritz is written without having lived it. We don’t publish press releases, we don’t accept paid articles without explicit mention, we don’t give a glowing review to an establishment if it doesn’t deserve it.
Our criteria: authenticity, local roots and consistency between what is advertised and what is actually experienced.
